Our family-oriented outings include safe river and lake paddling, hiking and cycling trails, well-appointed parks and landmarks from the distant past. Our countryside is a great place to get married or enjoy local wines (or both!). The Rockingham County adventure gets a little more exciting on some of our faster river runs. Rockingham County hosts great big festivals and down-home street fairs. We’ve got fine dining and country diners. And it’s a pretty county if you just feel like taking a drive. Come visit—we’re just 20 minutes north of Greensboro on the Virginia state line!
